Overview
UCP Travel is a technology platform that facilitates bookings on behalf of operators and travellers. Refund rights are governed by the fare conditions of the airline, hotel, or travel supplier.
Flight Refunds
Refundable fares: if a booking was made on a refundable fare, a cancellation may be initiated through the platform where supported. The refund amount, after any applicable penalty, is determined by supplier rules. Refunds are returned to the original payment method by the supplier or payment provider.
Non-refundable fares: non-refundable fares cannot be refunded. The platform should display the refund conditions before cancellation is confirmed.
Airline-initiated changes and cancellations: if an airline cancels or significantly changes a flight, the traveller may be entitled to a refund under supplier terms and applicable law. These cases typically require human review.
Stay and Hotel Refunds
Hotel refunds are governed by the cancellation timeline shown at the time of booking. Free cancellation windows vary by property and rate type. Cancelling after the deadline may result in a partial or zero refund.
Platform Service Fees
Zologic service fees or markups, where applied, are generally non-refundable once a booking is confirmed, except where the booking is cancelled due to a demonstrable platform error attributable to Zologic.
How to Request a Refund
Refund-eligible cancellations can be initiated through the operator dashboard or supported cancellation tools. The platform should display the refund amount before you confirm. Once confirmed, cancellation may be irreversible.
For disputes or cases not resolvable through the platform, contact contact@zologic.nl and include your booking reference and provider order ID.
Zologic's Role
Zologic is a technology intermediary. We do not hold travel funds or issue supplier refunds directly. Refunds flow through the travel inventory and payment infrastructure provider back to the original payment method.
Zologic is not liable for refund delays caused by suppliers, banks, or payment providers.
